The James Hall Transport Museum Mystery Hunt
Welcome to the Mystery Hunt -- Find the Clues, Solve the Puzzle, and YOU Could Win!!!
Welcome! This site contains the clues needed for a mystery clue hunt held at The James Hill Transport Museum in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.
The hunt was put together by Jennifer Cosslett of Crawford Prep in Sandton, and Roy Blumenthal.
Here's how it works...
When Jennifer's school goes on an outing to the museum, the teachers pre-hide six brightly coloured cards near certain old vehicles. These cards contain a QR code and a website address.
For kids with smartphones that can scan QR codes, each code takes them to a specific page within this site.
For kids without smartphones, all they have to do is take a photo of the website address. When they get back to the computer lab at school, they can surf to the relevant page.
All in all, there are six clues. Each one has a puzzle piece associated with it. Kids must print all six puzzle pieces, cut them out, and assemble a single completed picture.
This final picture contains a phrase. Once a kid has glued his or her puzzle pieces into place, and written the phrase down, they can enter the competition. This is easy... just fold the paper up, and place it in the competition box in Jennifer's classroom.
All the best on your hunt! Have fun!
